Nelson NZ Sealord Rescue Vessel
Three and a half years of planning and fundraising by Nelson Coastguard resulted in the delivery of their new rescue vessel the Sealord.
Marine Air Flow was very privilaged to have been involved in this project, and as always naval designers NAIAD have created a design suited to both the application and environment.
Built by AIMEX Service group Port Nelson this vessel is superb quality ensuring that this vessel will remain in service for decades to come.
The engine room ventilation system developed for the Sealord include:
- Single stage intake separator grilles
- Stainless steel dampers
- Compact DC fans, diverters and mounts &
- A variable speed Air On Demand controller.
