Air Dampers
We can offer a choice of two types of Air Dampers. Our own stainless steel air damper suitable for Australian survey and conditions, or an A60 certified damper that will meet USCG code.
Also available are Man Access Dampers suitable for where access is required.
Stainless Steel Air Dampers
Marine Air Flow stainless steel air dampers, are essential for engine room fire control in marine vessels. These dampers meet NSCV & USL codes so are suitable for Australian use and can be manually triggered or automated.
They effectively block oxygen to suppress fires and are available in various standard sizes with options for manual or 24V DC automatic operation.
A60 Air Dampers
The A-60 Stainless Steel Air Dampers are certified dampers crucial for engine room fire control in marine vessels. These dampers are automatically controlled and meet rigorous standards including USCG, SOLAS, and Lloyds Register certification.
Designed to close automatically at 74°C, they prevent oxygen supply during fires, enhancing safety. Available in custom sizes, they integrate seamlessly with ventilation systems, ensuring compliance and optimal performance for marine environments.
Man Access Dampers
Stainless Steel Drop Flap Dampers (Man Access Dampers) offer an engineered solutions for engine room ventilation and fire control where access is also needed.
Constructed from marine-grade stainless steel, they can be manually triggered or integrated into automated systems, crucially blocking oxygen during fires to enhance safety. Designed with accessibility in mind, these dampers allow personnel access through air ducts, optimizing space utilization on vessels.
