Feedback from the launch
Port Of Brisbane - The BRISBANE
We recently completed a project for Port of Brisbane which was the largest air intake grilles we have ever made. Manufactured for the BRISBANE a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge this complete engine room ventilation system was a great project to be part of.
At 2100 mm plus, these grilles were manufactured in three sections to ensure the integrity of the grilles.

Brisbane River Cat
- You can see our new roof mounted fresh air ventilation modules designed for ferry passenger spaces where air conditioning is not desired.
- You can also see our new Stainless Steel Drop Flap style Air Dampers- these allow personal access as well as function as an Air Damper. This saves space and expensive additional equipment purchases and installation- on a typical Ferry Cat this saves 4 expensive deck access hatches and installation costs.
- And you can see our latest Intake Separator Grille Combination, with an inbuilt air duct mounting a pair of DC Compact Fans (producing approx 1400 l/sec) capable of supporting approx 700 Hp in a typical ferry.
Batam Fast Ferry - Ocean Raider
We have worked hand in hand with Batam Fast Ferries in Indonesia on two projects to date, one a 41.6 meter ferry and the other their Ocean Raider fast ferry. Both projects were full ventilation systems designed by Marine Air Flow to support the General Arrangement supplied and were shipped from our factory here on the Gold Coast to their production facility in Indonesia.
