This concept allows the air out duct space to be utilised for personnel access. Dual purposing the air duct to also become a man access reduces total deck space needed which means these dampers may fit where you have limited deck area. Using these dampers will increase usable deck space for cargo, seating and other purposes.
The multi purposing of the air duct space also reduces build costs and improves deck flow and function.
