Enter the number of engine roms:
Enter the number of engine rooms in your boat. We need this information to assess the number of air intake grilles you may require.
Do your engine rooms have more than one component:
For example your engine room may have a main engine and a genset. This would mean that your engine room has 2 components. It is very important that we know this information.
It is desirable that you have this information but if not, we can still continue as long as you have the maximum horsepower of these components.
Enter the length, width & height of your engine room : Metres only incl decimal point - EG: 1.85
Enter these dimensions in metres If it is 1 metre enter this number as 1.0  These fields will not process if you enter these dimensions in mm.
Make & Model of main engine:
Enter the make and model of your main engine. For example: Cummins Nerco V1439K   If you don't know the make and model enter any information you have. IE: Caterpiller V12
What is the horsepower of the main engine:
This field is essential. We must know the maximum operating horsepower of your main engine. If you have two engine rooms, enter the details of the engine room that has the largest components with the greatest horsepower. If you have to estimate this field, enter an amount on the larger side. IE: you estimate your main engine is 480hp, enter it at say 510hp.
What is the horsepower of the ancillary components:
This field is essential. We must know the maximum operating horsepower of your ancillary components. If you have to estimate this field, enter an amount on the larger side. IE: you estimate your genset is 80hp, enter it at say 95hp.
Do you have an exiting penetration?
If your grille is not for a new boat, you will have an existing air intake vent. Choose Yes for this option. If your air intake grille is for a new boat that is not yet constructed (or has existing penetration size on the plans) choose No. NB: Our maximum recommended size for a grille is 1.9m (w) * 1.2m (h). Grilles over this size are available by special order. Please contact us with regard to oversized grilles.
How many air INTAKE grilles are existing and/or required per engine room?
How many of our intake grilles do your require PER engine room. Some engine rooms have more than one air intake. For example a monohull with a single engine room may have 2 air intakes and 1 air outlet.

Do you require any air OUT grilles. If so please enter the number PER engine room. For aesthetic purposes, you may want to use our grilles for your air outlets as well. While it is unusual, some engine rooms do have more than one air outlet. For example a monohull with a single engine room may have 2 air intakes and 2 air outlets.

Please select the flange size you would require:
We have three flange options the details of which are below: All these options have a fixing flange of 40mm & a face flange of 25mm.

Flush flange:   With this option the fixing flange is flush to the outside face of the grille. Once installed only the 3mm thickness of the flange protrudes outside of the vessel. 100mm of the grille thickness extends into the air ducting, reducing the airway by 100mm. The drain slots on this assembly are totally visible to the exterior face.

Stepped Flange:   With this option the grilles extends 30mm to the exterior of the vessel and 70mm protrudes into the air ducting. On this assembly the drain slots maybe mounted on the underside edge and thereby are not easily visible. This acheives a more aesthetic external appearance.

Limited Flange:   With this option the grille extends 70mm to the exterior of the vessel and only 30mm protrudes into the air ducting. This acheives the least restrictive passage within the air ducting. It is recommended that this arrangement is utilised in any restricted airway so as to maximise air flow.

Fixing Flange: Fixing flange is 40mm

Please choose the shape of your penetration & fill in the dimensions.
Click on the shape of the penetration that is closest to yours and fill in the dimensions accordingly. Again please complete these fields using metres not millimetres.  If your shape is not here (round for example) click other and you will be taken to a page where you can either email us the details and we will respond to your email address with a quote or you can print our fax order form and order your grille by fax. Either way we will respond with a quote for your approval before your grille is manufactured.
Boat Name:
Enter your boat name so you can identify the quote at a later date. If your boat is not yet built, enter something (must be letters only) that you can use to identify this quote.
